A fabulous pair of antique Victorian drop earrings fashioned in 15ct gold and collet set with two oval cut amethysts weighing approx. 7.2ct each. These antique gold earrings have a soft violet hue that’s complemented beautifully by two bright white pearls suspended above.
Amethyst is the birthstone of February and is considered a stone of protection, clarity and tranquillity. Its deep violet colouring has been highly esteemed throughout history, adorning regal jewellery all around the world, from ancient Egypt to the British crown jewels.
